Breath + guided movement to release tension

We start with breathing and steady, guided movement to help unwind tightness in the shoulders, back, and hips. The movements are gentle and grounded, yet active enough to engage the body without strain.

Core awareness and a steadier centre

We shift awareness from the head back into the body — especially your centre of gravity (core). This often calms mental noise and brings a more stable, grounded feeling.

Simple movement based on Qigong principles

The session uses easy-to-follow movements inspired by Qigong — a traditional body-based practice known for supporting circulation, calm focus, and balance. No flexibility or prior experience needed.

A deeper settle and nervous system downshift

You won’t be asked to analyse your emotions or talk about anything personal. As the body settles, the mind often follows.

Last weekend, a quiet yet powerful journey unfolded in Northland.

The Master Healer Training took place across two sacred natural spaces —
the forests near Kerikeri and the land of Earth Village.

Participants did not come to gain knowledge or techniques.
They came to live the practice.

Healing yourself first

The Master Healer path begins not with helping others,
but with truly healing yourself.

Practice here is not something separate from life.
It becomes the way you breathe, move, listen, and choose —
day by day.

There is no hierarchy of teacher and student,
no pressure to perform or become someone else.

Instead, each person takes responsibility for their own healing
in a way that feels deeply grounded, honest, and real.

What we practiced together

Over these days, participants experienced practices designed to reconnect them with their natural state of balance and clarity:

What Is Nervous System Regulation? Understanding Dorsal and Ventral Vagal States in New Zealand
